“Fire Up the Weed” is honored once again! This time as a FINALIST in the 2019 International Songwriting Competition (ISC) Comedy/Novelty category. Always a favorite with Tracy’s audiences, the song first appeared on the 2012 album I Just See You by Tracy Newman and the Reinforcements. The song’s comedic edge will leave you wondering where all the hip people from the 70’s went! Jackie Morris of Folkworks says Tracy “is one of the most talented story-song lyricists on the folk scene today.” We happen to agree!
