WHAT’S LEFT OF YOU

Your hands they shake
Your words come slow
Sometimes you can’t remember
One minute ago
Drinking and drugs have finally taken their toll
I guess we really do reap what we sow

Old friends don’t come around
You’ve burned those bridges down

But I’m still here, I’m still true
I’m stickin’ to you like crazy glue
Cuz I still see a lot that’s right for me
In what’s left of you

Sometimes when I
Sit close to you
You smile a smile
That breaks me in two
It says you’ve forgotten the things you can’t do
And you think you’re good as new

But mostly your head’s bowed down
You don’t even know I’m around

But I’m still here, I’m still true
I’m stickin’ to you like crazy glue
Cuz I still see a lot that’s right for me
In what’s left of you

You tell me that I should move on
Find a girl/man who still dances
That I deserve more than half a girl/man
But you don’t understand what romance is

Sometimes you kiss my hand
And gaze at me
Declare your love
Endlessly
Pour out your feelings and listen to mine
And though you’re not all there all the time

This love is new to me
It’s more than it used to be

And I’m still here, I’m still true
I’m stickin’ to you like crazy glue
Cuz I still see a lot that’s right for me
In what’s left of you
Yes, there’s more than enough
That’s right for me
In what’s left of you
